I AM NOT HERE

Commission work for the documentary I am Not Here, directed by Award-winning, Oscar nominated director Ashwin Kumar, who I had worked for earlier on another one of his films – Inshallah Football whilst at Tsk Design.

I am Not Here tells the story of undocumented migrant domestic workers who leave their countries in search of work, security and to provide for their families back home.

The film speaks for human rights issues concerning the migrants who undergo perilous journeys, risking death, deportation, arrest, physical and sexual abuse in the hope of finding dignity.

Katiyabaaz

Commission work for a documentary on the issue of electricity theft in the city of Kanpur. The poster depicts Loha Singh, a central character in the proceedings who is fashioned on the lines of a danger sign (skull & cross) most related with electricity.

He's almost a Prometheus like figure who steals electricity from the Gods to give it to the lesser mortals for better or for worse!
